Notice on revocation rights

The EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) (the "CRD") was introduced in 2011 with the aim of harmonising and simplifying consumer protection legislation in the EU. Incorporation of the CRD into national laws was required by 13 December 2013, and member states must apply the national laws implementing the Directive from 13 June 2014. The rules below ensure compliance with the new CRD, simplifying the original guidelines only to make them more easy to understand or apply to our situation as a publisher.

Revocation rights

You can withdraw from your sales contract, without indicating reasons, within 14 days in written form (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail) or - if the item is delivered to you before expiry of the time limit - also by returning the item. For your notice you may use the template included below, but that is not mandatory. In any case, your notice needs to include your full postal address and, if available, telephone and fax numbers, and email address. Timely dispatch of revocation (or the item) is sufficient to observe the revocation deadline. Revocations are to be submitted to:

Revocation consequences

In the event of a valid revocation we will reimburse you, within 14 days after receiving your revocation notice, for any payments made as a result of this contract, including any shipping fees, except for additional fees for non-standard delivery as requested by you. The cost of returning of the goods are borne by the customer. We can deny reimbursement until the delivered goods have been returned or you have provided proof that they have been returned, whichever date is earlier. If you return the delivered goods to us only partially or in a deteriorated condition, you need to compensate us to the required extent. Payment obligations must be fulfilled within 30 days after dispatch of your revocation notice or the item for you, and on its receipt for us.
