Über ebene Bimetallprobleme für das Aussengebiet mit verschiedenen Rand- und Kontaktbedingungen
Lothar
Jentsch
Technische Universität Chemnitz-Zwickau, CHEMNITZ, GERMANY
Existence and uniqueness theorems for boundary contact problems of plane elastostatics for the exterior domain are proved for the case whenithe boundary and the contact-line have common points. Two boundary and three different contact conditions are considered. The differential equation and the contact condition are a priori fulfilled by potentials having the corresponding contact tensor as kernel. The densities of the potentials satisfy systems of integral equations with fixed singularities, the Fredholm property of which follows from results of Duduchava.

Boundedness of Anisotropic Pseudo-Differential Operators in Function Spaces of Besov–Hardy–Sobolev Type
Hans-Gerd
Leopold
Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, JENA, GERMANY
This paper is concerned with pseudo-differential operators in the anisotropic function spaces of Besov-Hardy-Sobolev type $B^{\bar s}_{p,q}$ and $F^{\bar s}_{p,q}$. An anisotropie generalization of the classical Hörmander class of pseudo-differential operators is introduced and a theorem about the boundedness of these anisotropic pseudo-differential operators in associated anisotropic function spaces is proved.

Uniqueness Theorems for the Determination of a Coefficient in a Quasilinear Parabolic Equation
Siegfried
Dümmel
Technische Universität Chemnitz, CHEMNITZ, GERMANY
Two uniqueness theorems for the determination of the coefficient $q(u)$ in the quasilinear parabolic equation $u_t = q(u) \Delta u$ are proved for the case that $q$ is analytic and for the special case that $q$ depends linearly on $u$.

A Variational Principle for Equations and Inequalities with Maximal Monotone Operators
Eckehard
Krauss
Karl-Weierstraß-Institut für Mathematik, BERLIN, GERMANY
Let be given a variational inequality with a monotone operator. We describe the set of solutions by a modified variational principle. This still remains valid if the operator is not a subdifferential of a convex function. It allows a physical interpretation and shows in which sense the monotonicity of the operator leads to "globally stable" solutions of the variational in equality.

On the Stability Property for a General Form of Variational Inequalities
Le Van
Chong
Institute of Mathematics, HANOI, VIETNAM
Stability criteria for a general form of variational inequalities in reflexive Banach spaces are established under assumptions on the monotonicity, concavity, continuity and boundedness of the parameter-dependent problem. Some special cases are considered.

Ein transfiniter Durchmesser bei quasikonformen Normalabbildungen mehrfach zusammenhängender Gebiete
Siegfried

Universität Halle-Wittenberg, HALLE, GERMANY
The transfinite diameter of Fekete of a simply connected domain, which is connected with the conformal radius of the domain, is generalized for a certain class of quasiconformal canonical mappings of a multiply connected domain. For the conformal case the rate of convergence is studied.

Zum Begriff der Analytizität auf zusammenhängenden Iokalkompakten Gruppen
Hans
Bauch
Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald, GREIFSWALD, GERMANY
Several definitions of analyticity of functions on locally compact groups are introduced and tested in connection with the proprties of the Fourier coefficients on a compact solenoid. It is proved that absolute convergence of the Fourier series does not follow from analyticity and that a rapidly decreasing sequence of Fourier coefficients of a function, which is analytic on a dense subset, need not exponentially rapidly decrease. On the other hand, on compact groups functions with exponentially rapidly decreasing Fourier coefficients are analytic.
