Couple-majorized mappings, Fan-Browder fixed point theorem, maximal elements, coincidence points, minimaz inequalities, Knaster-Kuratowski-Mazurkiewicz lemma and product spaces
By introducing a concept called ’couple-majorized mapping’ in product topoogical vector spaces we establish existence theorems of maximal elements for couple.majorized set-valued families with arbitrary index set. As applications, some component coincidence and fixed points theorems are given which could be regarded as product extension version of the Fan-Browder fixed point theorem and related coincidence theorems. Finally, a coincidence theorem is used to derive the Sion minimax inequality in the case of two functions.

Following recent work of Peetre and Qian, the conformal covariance of convolution operators involving the fundamental solutions to iterates of the Dirac operator in Euclidean space is described using Vahlen matrices. This conformal covariance is applied to a number of problems, including Dirichlet problems over unbounded domains.

Quasilinear parabolic equations, generalized solutions, existence, uniqueness, Hölder estimates
Existence and uniqueness of some Holder continuous generalized solution of Cauchy-Dirichlet problem for a class of degenerate or singular quasilinear parabolic equations is established. Similar equations arise in the study of turbulent filtration of a gas or a fluid through porous media.

An existence and regularity result for a linear integro-differential inequality of parabolic type, connected with the problem of the American option pricing, is stated. The proof is based on the use of some estimates of Lewy-Stampacchia type for parabolic variational inequalities and a fixed point argument.

Integro-differential equations of Barbashin type, differential equations in Banach spaces, partial integral operators, Cauchy operators, boundary value problems, spectral radius, ideal spaces
We study a class of integro-differential equations containing multiplication opera-tors, partial integral operators, and ordinary integral operators. Building on the usual identification of real functions of several variables and abstract functions, such integro- differential equations may be reformulated as ordinary differential equations in suitable Banach spaces. We give a representation theorem for the corresponding Cauchy operator and study the (unique) solvability of a general boundary value problem.

An Example for Different Associated Spaces in the Case of Pseudoanalytic Functions

Associated operators, initial-value problems, Cauchy-Kovalevska theorem
The theory of solving initial-value problems in associated spaces makes it possible to solve initial-value problems with more general initial functions. In many cases the associated space is not uniquely determined, i.e. there exist various so-called co-associated spaces in which initial-value problems can be solved. The present paper is aimed at giving an example to this fact.
