Abstract

The focus of the workshop was on the interplay between spectral theory of differential operators, system theory, inverse problems and properties of associated classes of analytic functions, among them the classical Titchmarsh-Weyl -function from singular Sturm-Liouville theory, the Dirichlet-to-Neumann map from the theory of elliptic partial differential equations, and more abstract transfer, Weyl and -functions from infinite dimensional system and operator theory.
